Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Chad Battles, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. X.com Integration

Chad Battles integrates with X.com for user authentication and gameplay mechanics. By using Chad Battles, you agree to:

• Allow Chad Battles to analyze your Twitter activity to determine your character class and attributes
• Engage with the @RollMasterChad bot as the primary method of gameplay
• Abide by Twitter's Terms of Service while using our application

X.com Permissions and User Data

When you connect your X.com account to Chad Battles, you will be asked to grant certain permissions. These permissions are required by X.com for any app that posts or interacts on your behalf. Below is a summary of each permission and how Chad Battles uses it:

• See Posts from your timeline (including protected Posts) as well as your Lists and collections:
  Used to read your mentions and game-related posts so the bot can respond to your commands. We do not analyze or store your timeline for any other purpose.
• See your X.com profile information and account settings:
  Used to display your username, avatar, and stats in the game. We do not change your profile or access sensitive settings.
• See accounts you follow, mute, and block:
  Used only to prevent spam and abuse, and to ensure fair play. We do not follow, mute, or block anyone on your behalf.
• Follow and unfollow accounts for you:
  Chad Battles will never follow or unfollow anyone for you. This permission is required by X.com for apps with write access, but is not used by our game.
• Update your profile and account settings:
  Chad Battles will never change your profile or account settings.
• Create and delete Posts for you, and engage with Posts created by others (Like, un-Like, or reply to a Post, Repost, etc.) for you:
  Used only to post game results, battle outcomes, and replies to your commands as part of the game. We will never post unrelated content, spam, or like/reply to posts outside of the game.
• Create, manage, and delete Lists and collections for you:
  Chad Battles will never create or delete your lists. This permission is not used.
• Mute, block, and report accounts for you:
  Chad Battles will never mute, block, or report anyone.
• See your email address:
  Chad Battles does not use or store your email address.

What Chad Battles Will NEVER Do

• We will never post, like, follow, unfollow, mute, block, or DM anyone except as part of explicit game actions you trigger.
• We will never change your profile or account settings.
• We will never sell or share your data with third parties.
• We will never use your account for advertising or spam.

3. User Conduct

When using Chad Battles, you agree not to:

• Attempt to exploit or manipulate the game mechanics
• Harass other users or engage in abusive behavior
• Use bots or automated scripts to interact with the game
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

4. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of Chad Battles and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

Chad Battles is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our service.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of Chad Battles after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
